Synopsis of Minutes

Council was advised that a Discipline hearing will be held on March 24th & 25th, 2021. One complaint has been received since the last meeting of council and has been successfully resolved. Twenty-one virtual compliance reviews have been conducted to date in 2021.
A motion was passed to refer an inquiry about maternity leave to the Legislative & Governance Committee for their review.
A motion was passed to appoint Patrick Brown, EFDS 5352, to the Investigation Panel.
A further motion was passed to accept the December 2020 Revenue & Expense Reports as presented.
And a further motion was passed for the Accountant to change the budget into monthly quadrants and compare actual to budget, each month.
A motion was passed to accept the report on the Actuarial Evaluation of the Assurance Fund as at December 31st, 2019, as presented.
The next meeting of Council will be held March 11, 2021.
